Patrick Dorgu’s name has been updated to on Manchester United’s website and match sheets.

This change was made at the request of his family as a way to honor their heritage and religion.

Dorgu, who plays as a left-back, joined Manchester United from Lecce in January 2025 for a reported fee of around £24-30 million.

He’s known for his impressive performances, scoring three goals and providing an assist in 22 appearances for Lecce before his transfer.
